MALVERN, Pa. — The LaunchBox @ Penn State Great Valley will host the fourth annual Lion Cage pitch competition from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM on Saturday, March 6. This year’s program will be live-streamed to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Lion Cage gives budding entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their products or ideas to a panel of judges and compete for invaluable prizes. This year, Lion Cage will consist of two tracks – one for community entrepreneurs and one for students. Great Valley LaunchBox Student Pitch Day

Penn State Great Valley will host a virtual Student Pitch competition from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 21. Student Pitch Day offers Penn State students an opportunity to pitch their products or ideas to a panel of judges and compete for cash prizes. To enter, students must apply by midnight on Monday, November 9. The application includes a brief form, slide deck, and video recording. Penn State Great Valley Announces Great Valley LaunchBox

Penn State Great Valley is expanding its entrepreneurial outreach with the new Great Valley LaunchBox program. Great Valley joins multiple other Penn State campuses with LaunchBox programs, which are funded by Invent Penn State, a Commonwealth-wide initiative to spur economic development, job creation, and student career success. In May 2016, Penn State Great Valley received a $50,000 seed grant from Invent Penn State.
