Entrepreneurs Pitch Ideas Virtually at 4th Annual Lion Cage

MALVERN, Pa. — The LaunchBox @ Penn State Great Valley hosted the fourth annual Lion Cage pitch competition on Saturday, March 6. Lion Cage gives budding entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their products or ideas to a panel of judges of startup and business experts.

A range of products and services were presented by six groups. The winning competitors were Seth Shriner with Adjunction, Jess Podgajny with LLUNA, and Harsh Anand, Rahul Sharma, and Neel Vekaria with Grad Birdie.

Adjunction seeks to provide highly qualified adjunct candidates, who have been vetted and trained, to colleges and universities – improving the educational experience for students and enhancing the department’s curriculum.

LLUNA helps businesses attract and retain talent by enabling employees to “design work for life” or personalize their employment arrangements at the point of hire and regularly thereafter.

Grad Birdie is a platform that seeks to connect like-minded graduate students worldwide to make the daunting university application process easy, allowing students to seek community help from fellow-peers throughout their application journey.
