4 Strategies for Launching Your Next Reinvention

You are constantly growing; and as the years pass, your values, passion, and purpose evolve. When the circumstances of your life don’t reflect your growth, life gets complicated. It can feel unfulfilled or leave you lost.

In 2005, author of The Journey to Reinvention, Roger Osorio, felt lost when his life was not in alignment with who he really was and what mattered to him. He owed over $100,000 in debt, weighed the most he ever had, and was in a relationship that was no longer right for him, and worked for a supervisor that disrespected him. One day, he decided it was time to reinvent his life!

In 2020, the global pandemic caused many of us to reconsider whether our relationships, career, finances, health, etc. were in alignment with our values, passion, and purpose.

“Am I living my best life?”
“Am I really happy in this job?”
“What if I could be doing something that I love for a living?”
“Can I make this career or life pivot successfully?”

Others were forced to reconsider their lives due to massive layoffs and corporate reorganizations that left them without a job. Roger, too, was impacted by the layoffs at the tech company IBM.

About Roger

Roger Osorio is an author, reinvention expert, and founder of The School of Reinvention, a community-based coaching platform empowering people to launch and succeed in personal and career reinvention.

After graduating from Penn State University, Roger worked for a Fortune 500 company in marketing and sales. In 2008, after falling in love with a part-time job tutoring math, he quit his day job to reinvent his career. Since then, Roger has earned a masters degree in psychology and reinvented himself into a middle and high school math teacher, international speaker, executive coach at a major tech company, Ivy League educator, entrepreneur, and author.

When Roger isn’t writing, he teaches entrepreneurship at University of Pennsylvania and Sarah Lawrence College.
